CEDG was retained to provide a variety of engineering
services related to the proposed Shippensburg University
Conference Center and Foundation Headquarters. CEDG
recently completed the site boundary and topographical
survey for the project and is in the process of performing
site design and layout of the entire conference center and facilities
project. This high profile development is projected to become one of
the Harrisburg/Chambersburg region's largest centers for cultural and
conference events. This multi-faceted project involves the construction
of the University Foundation Headquarters, a 70,000 sq. ft. Shippensburg
Area Conference Center, affiliated parking area,
stormwater drainage plans, new entrance and exit points, landscaped
entrance plazas and courtyards, sidewalks, and infrastructure conveyance
and collection systems.
